Update 17th March 2020

Following advice from the Department of Health, NHS and the government about the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to close the school from Wednesday 18th March.

If things change, we will update everyone as necessary, so please keep an eye on our website and social media channels, and make sure we have an up-to-date email address so that we can keep in touch about our online plans to keep some lessons going, rehearsing for the show and keeping everyone active via webinars and videos!

We know that many pupils are worried about the show being cancelled, but we’d like to assure that we’re doing our utmost to make sure it does go ahead in some form and we will come back fighting on to that stage when this difficult period has passed.

Update 12th March 2020

Hereford Academy of Dance is open and currently operating as normal. However, the health and safety of our staff, students, visitors and the wider community is our primary concern, so we’re monitoring the situation day-by-day, and ask everyone to stay informed and follow official advice.

To keep the school functioning we’ll endeavour to continue with the previously published term dates and keep the show preparations on track (something we know our pupils care greatly about!). However, we will review this if and when necessary.

Next term’s fees are due at the start of term (20th April) and regardless of any movement, or cancellation of classes, payments are due on this date. Please rest assured that any classes which are affected will be replaced/rearranged should we need to close the building.

We do request that the waiting area downstairs is kept as clear as possible. Therefore if you usually wait during your child’s class we ask that you drop off and return to collect for the foreseeable future.
